I found the courage to follow my instincts after checking an older copy of WordPress the missing manual (MacDonald/O’Reilly) for references to menus. It pointed out that menus were a theme thing. I naturally went to Themes on my Dashboard and decided to customize my active theme. With a little work – mostly trial and error – I modified a menu description, deleted a menu item and added a new menu item to point to an existing page. And voila! I managed my first changes to my websites’ menu without too much trouble.
No applause please! Thank you. Thank you very much!
